Monday, May 2, 2016 RAIN

I went back home on a mission. A mission to detach, detox and deprogram and yeah get some awesome nature shots in the process. So I packed my camera, got on a matatu and was home in a few hours. By the time I got there I was pumped, I was ready, my trigger finger was itching to shoot but I had to wait till the next day because by the time I arrived twas abit late and from the looks of things, rain had just fallen and the air was still full of promise of the showers to come.

Hi guys, here are the final part of the Raddison Blu series.

Monday, March 21, 2016 RADISSON BLU...PART 1

Good day beautiful people.

A week ago, I got the chance to shoot a kenyan blogger called Nancie Mwai at the beautiful Radisson Blu hotel in Nairobi Upper Hill. First of all, I must mention  that the place is really beautiful and you could really tell that the interior decor had alot of time invested into it all the way from the stylish reception to the rooms.

Friday, February 12, 2016 MEMORIES OF HOME...

Good day my people. Hope your year is going awesome. I rarely get time to go back home during the year so as you might have guessed, I think about home alot. The reason I love home is not only because its home but also due to the fact that the atmosphere there allows (or for lack of a better word ) encourages a clear mind. Everything outside the compound falls into silent memory. Dont get me wrong, I do not mean that as soon as you get into the compound you get brain washed, wait...actually I do. The compound gives you a good cleansing because once you get in, everyting else matters less..hehehe.. Let me stop my rumbling. So the last time I went home, I got a chence to do some shooting and here is some of the photos I came back with..

Wednesday, December 9, 2015 Paint Post 1

Good day,

Hope all is well. Soo, this post is about me trying to recreate oil paintings from actual photos. The idea was given to me by my sister who needed to print some of the photos I have done for the 10003 Warrior Project on canvas. After a few days and abit of trial and error, I came up with the following. This will be my first paint post and more on the same concept will come on other posts. Oh, the photos in black & white are from the project and the coloured one is of a good friend of mine.

Cheers..

Good day to you beautiful people. Its that time of the week again and I have to share some portraits. Meet Sarah Hassan. I met her on assignment for Wambui Mukenyi. Contrary to public beliefs, oh.. sorry scratch that....contrary to my beliefs(hehe) she's actually quite easy and fun to talk to - her inner child shines out playfully. Had an awesome shoot and thought to share some of the portraits I took. Have an awesome day and keep smiling. Cheers....
